This makes me nervous.....

We are having our family pictures taken tomorrow.  The first family picture we've had taken since Cassidy was born.  I was dreading it because I hate my hair right now, but I haven't had time to go get it cut and styled, so I was already not looking forward to it.  And now this...
Cassidy has decided to start crunching her nose up when she smiles and laughs now.  The result:

I swear to you that she is not screaming bloody murder, no matter what it looks like.  She really is smiling and laughing in this photo. So, now I'm not only going to have my bad hair memorialized, but Cassidy is going to be screaming about it in the family photo tomorrow.  (Assuming that she'll smile for the stranger taking the photo...)

I need a craft group....

I love crafting and wish I did so much more of it!
I love following these blogs and am addicted to tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com
Oh, how I wish I had all the time and energy in the world, just to make all these cute things!

Color

My parents have the great misfortune of living in San Diego- where they have absolutely no idea what season it is because the average temperature ranges from 74 to 79 degrees, year round.
This is what they are missing....

Don't you feel sorry for them? I know I do...I love this fall weather!

Candyland

I've posted on here before about how super insane my office takes Halloween.  We always do group costumes and decorations and have competitions with other groups on our floor.  This year our theme was Candyland and I was appointed as Lord Licorice.  Here's some of the insane-ness below (and a very cute pumpkin!):

Lord Licrorice and the Pumpkin

Some of the group- Lolly, Princess Frostline, Mr. Jolly, Me and some of the kids, in the hallway by my office.

The rest of the group- gingerbread people, grandma nutt, peanuts, Queen Candy and Gumdrops

My spider web cake- soo delicious and super easy to decorate.

My office  Licorice Forest

the HUGE mural drawn on the side of one of the walls

Queen Candy's office and surrounding area

See the resemblance, right?

More Busy-ness

Being back at work is AWESOME and Cassidy is doing so great in the daycare.  I love having the daycare in my building, and I am always taking breaks to go and play with her through out the day.  She loves her new teachers and is learning so much from the other babies.  Harrison is finishing up Cub Scouts this month and we are gearing up for the Arrow of Light ceremony next month.  He played Broom Ball for the first time with the Boy Scout troop that he will be joining in December and had a great time!  Here are some updated pictures of the kiddos and one short video of Cassidy and her new toy!

She's mastering the little ring toy but then gets distracted by that big white dog.... :)

Cassidy playing with her cousin, Emily when we spent the weekend in Fresno last month.  I think Cassidy is going to look a lot like Emily when she gets older- their baby pictures are almost identical.  That Snyder gene is strong in all the cousins!

First day back at work and first day at daycare.  Bright and early at 6:30, she always falls asleep during the am and pm commute.
Pumpkin! She's laughing at something Daddy is doing that is silly.

Brother and sister- Harrison LOVES her and gets so excited to play with her, sings her songs, teaches her how to roll over, etc.  She just can't take her eyes off him when he's around!

Harrison playing goalie during broom ball- yea, we forgot the sweatshirt at home, so good thing he was running around and didn't get too cold!
 Fierce.
The 10-year old!! Can't believe we have a 10-year old! But each year, Harrison just gets more and more fun.  He has such a great personality and is so caring.  He really pays attention to how everyone else feels and is very sensitive and a great big brother.  He loves his computer time and anything that deals with Greek mythology.  His favorite author is a tie between Shel Silverstein and Rick Riodian (Percy Jackson).  He spends all weekend outside playing in the neighborhood and all summer in the pool!

busy bees

We've been soo busy this month before I go back to work, that I haven't had time to really update the blog. So, here are some pics of the last month. But I'm too busy to narrate all of them- so just enjoy viewing them!

(learning to eat from a spoon!)

(LOVE this picture of the 3 of them- can't wait to put it in Harrison's Senior Yearbook)

(Would LOVE this photo too if either of the kids were paying attention!)

(couch potatos!)
