Cal State Fair

It's the last week of summer vacation that Harrison has with us, so we are packing it full of activities!!
James took the day off and we headed to the State Fair yesterday and had a blast! Cassidy did relatively well, we had to shield her from the sun the entire time, but other than that, she hung in there.  Rides, fun houses, corndogs, smelly animals and exhibit halls galore!

She loved it!! She was so mad when we took her out of the water and she was so calm when she was sitting in there hanging out. Too funny...

Some recent events...

Harrison's little league team won the regular season- only losing one game the whole season long and then won the Tournament of Champions.  To Harrison this meant: a trophy and a medal! Horray!

Cassidy has been practicing her big girl tricks. For example, sitting all by herself on the boppy and in the papasan chair (thus freeing mommy's hands up to do other things besides hold her all the time- another horray!):
